Westfield Junior Musical Club
Classical music-oriented students audition for acceptance in this club. Performance meetings are held once a month. This music club functions under the auspices of the Musical Club of Westfield, an organization devoted to fostering and encouraging good music, providing opportunities for performance, and supporting college music scholarships. Each year, two of its members act as advisors to the junior club: a position of honor that Carolyn Klinger-Kueter has filled throughout the years.
New Jersey Music Teachers Association (NJMTA)
Carolyn Klinger-Kueter Music Studio is a member of NJMTA. The association holds annual auditions and competitions in which young pianists may participate. In May of 1968, the very first auditions were held in this studio; eight students performed. Currently, on average, 1,400 students participate in NJMTA events around the state. Top performers are showcased in concerts. Our students regularly participate in these events and traditionally grade exceptionally well.
