Carolyn Klinger-Kueter


Carolyn Klinger-Kueter is the founder of Carolyn Klinger-Kueter Music Studio, a legendary personality, and a leader in music education known for her half-century of innovative contributions in piano teaching.

She has been a leader in music education along with her colleagues, professors, and other visionary musicians from Teachers College, Columbia University since the groundbreaking creation of group piano teaching in the early '60s, and she continues to give seminars on the subject throughout the country and Europe.

Her expertise in the most innovative teaching methods and skills, along with that of her experienced staff, which continually provides fresh ideas and insights, best serves the students for a tailored approach to each one's needs.

Education

Ms. Kueter earned her bachelor's degree from Bucknell University and her master's degree in Education from Teacher's College, Columbia University. She continues her study at Rider University Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton.

Recognition

She has received recognition from Who's Who of American Teachers, Who's Who of American Women, and Who's Who in the East. In 1999, she was the first recipient of the Westfield, New Jersey, Rotary's Annual Award for Vocational Excellence, and she remains well-known for her volunteer participation in community and other organizations.
