Hands-on Technology

Making CD's from it's incept to the finish of designing and printing the covers, students are totally involved in the process. First they set up the garage band details on an Apple computer, then record their selections (done directly from the keyboard, making it unnecessary to use microphones and thus, enhancing the tone quality and cutting out outside noises.) Then they burn their CD's and designing their individual covers, to have as keepsakes and/or give as gifts.  (CD's are also used by teachers for demonstration purposes at the lessons to aid students at home practice.)

As the students advance to the stage of being able appreciate doing  a production at a state-of-the-art recording studio, that's where James Manno comes into play.
